About Samantha

Samantha Storch, LMHC

Hi, I'm Samantha. I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (MH14669) based in Florida passionate about helping people navigate life's ups and downs. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a Minor in Cognitive Sciences from the University of Central Florida and graduated from Rollins College with my Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have over 10 years of experience as a school-based mental health counselor in the public school setting working primarily with adolescents and young adults as they make their way through what can often be a chaotic and stressful time. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and have worked with people from a variety of cultural backgrounds, ethnicities, spiritualities, genders, and sexual orientations.

My journey into therapy began with a deep desire to create a safe space where individuals could feel seen, heard, and understood. With a client-centered and empathetic approach, I strive to build genuine connections with my clients, offering support and guidance throughout the therapy process. I believe in meeting you where you are and empowering you to take control of your mental and emotional well-being. I draw from a diverse range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), solution-focused, and mindfulness-based approaches. I tailor my counseling to meet your unique needs and preferences. In our sessions, we'll work collaboratively to prioritize your goals and develop practical strategies to help tackle whatever life throws your way.

When I'm not in therapist mode, you can typically find me spending time with my family. I enjoy exercising, traveling, listening to podcasts, and curling up on the couch next to my cats. If you're ready to take the next step to feeling more like yourself, do not hesitate to contact me. I can't wait to meet you!
